Reports coming indicate that the parents of State Minister for Energy, Hon Phiona Nyamutoro have demanded singer Eddy Kenzo to convert from Islam to Christianity order to marry their daughter officially.
It should be noted that the pair have been dating for quite a while and went official a few months ago. In that timeframe, they have already done a Kukyala and a wedding is in the pipelines. However, Kenzo might need to take a life changing decision.
The Stamina singer has been a practicing Muslim for all his life. For all the time he’s been in the limelight, Kenzo has made it clear how he’s proud of his religion. Even his past relationship was to a Muslim woman, Rema Namakula and all his children have Islamic names.
Therefore, he might need to cut ties with his beloved religion if he is to marry the woman of his dreams, Hon Phiona Nyamutoro.

However, when this website tried to reach out to the singer, he laughed this off. He said that it doesn’t need him to convert to Christianity to get with someone. This is because he’s been around Christians for the most of his life and they have gotten well along.
